Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
• Use the dedicated ticketing system to record all customer interactions into service work-info notes
• Prioritizing work to resolve complex support issues
• Establishing a high level of personal credibility and building strong relationships
• Respond to queries either in person or over the phone
• Ask questions to determine nature of issues
• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
• Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN) and other systems.
• Follow up with internal customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
• Documenting, reviewing, and improving existing or new procedures and workflows.
• Other activities and projects specific to the department
• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Good written and spoken English
• Interest in informatics
• Good knowledge of MS Office 2010 and Windows 7
